Don't get too excited these cars are a lot of fun but they're a big pain in the *** too. I'd get the TII but then buy something else for a daily driver. I'm buying a truck soon because my tII is a money pit

How much have you spent on it so far? What all have you had to do to it?

wow, Didn't know that FC's were going for that much, I got my FB for $600 with body in Real good condition, it would run, and my FC, 88 GXL 2+2, I got for $600 with it needing 2 fenders, a moon roof, and paint job to be in Great shape. (fenders arent too bad, minor collision on the pass. fender, and Driver Fender curling in by the door. and moon roof is just a few rust spots)

Your cars are too nice when you sell them. Outta their price range. You can only overcharge up to about $1500. When there is more cash required than that, you are likely doing business with someone that has multiple active brain cells.

The average Turbo II goes for less than 1k? Really? How much money would have to be spent (on average) to bring a sub 1k Turbo II to good condition.

That's not true, most T2 are in the $3000 range that I see for sale. One;s in good condition anyway. A beat up one will generally cost between $1200 - $2000, with them being in a wide range of conditions. Just make sure you check it over thoroughly. I personally like to have a compression test done before I purchase an FC.

here's a nice site to help you find an Rx-7, it tells you what to look for, what to avoid, and what you can use as bargaining chips!
