The Blitz panel only fits a 43mm gauge? I was thinking of getting the 3 gauge panel, only using it for 2, but whats with the 43mm gauges? Now it looks like Ill have to make one, does anyone make a din or double din blank panel that I can cut out for my needs??
You can just get a piece of ABS plastic and make your panel from that. There are spots behind the radio surround that you can screw it into. I used to have it on my car like that, but right now it's just flopping around because I'm lazy.

Putting those gauges under the radio will be ok because you don't ALWAYS have to see oil pressure and watertemperature gauges. Boost gauges usually need to be right in front of you
< You read my mind, IM saving the pillar for the day I do my engine transplant, lol. Im thinking under the radio, and of course do the treatment so it matches the rest of the painted plastic around the radio, A/C.
I'm always right. The problem is that I sometimes don't follow my OWN advice. :tounge:

im not. I have never liked that idea, i always want to be monitoring my ****, i remember one time i was racing on the freeway, from 60-120 and i wasn't about to look down @ my temp gauge going that fast with traffic and then all of a sudden a burning smell cam through my vents, then i look down and tempo gauge @ danger zone. :wow: ya o ****, pulled over and put ice on it, it was also like 100 degres out that day.lucky nothing happened, so i will never put my gauges down there. When i go boost im gogin to put it in the corner, by the a-pillar, above the vent

Yes, autometer, toss up between the carbon fibre face, and the ultra lights. I dont really want them to stand way out, I think Ill just use a thin piece of fiberglass painted black like the outside of the car, I have sheets of it made in a mold, almost looks like sheets of formica. Maybe Ill make a fiberglass pod to go in the middle of the dash where the idiot lights are now for those guys who may want one??? Ive had my car 5 years now, still undecided if I want to turbo it, or get a TII/3rd generation and mess with that instead and keep my vert normal.

I wouldn't get that R1 temp gauge since it only goes to 210. temps higher then that are not uncommon on a rotary. get something that goes to atleast 240-250F

and try and keep your stock gauges working too. the other place to get water temp is to tap into the rad house, greddy makes thing for this. I think you can tap the line to the BAC vavle too. that would be easy.
