Under your steering column, to the right of it, there is a plug with a bunch of wires in it, if memory serves me correctly, there is like 10 or so wires on that plug, maybe more? Its raining, so im not looking outside now. When your car floods, you can simply reach under and pull that plug out, and after the car starts, simply plug it back in while the car is running, you have to do it fast, cause once your car uses the fuel in the system, it will shut off again if you dont plug it back in. Now once again, if memory serves me correctly, on that plug, there is 2 blue wires that join together and are on the same prong, all you have to do is cut either wire, and run it to a switch. When it stops raining, I can double check everything for you, but tell me how that works out for you.

cool...i just got a switch from the electric store...i'll see whats the best way to do it...but im still wondering where the positive lead of the fuel pump goes to...it must end up under the steering column or wherever there's electricity...



btw...if you hide the switch..it makes a damn good anti-start system

If you lift the rear carpet you can get to the wiring.

Like I stated, wire the switch in with either of those blue wires.

just cut the black ground wire to the fuel pump, this will cut the power to the pump. use a push type toggle switch, run two wires for the switch under the carpet to where you want it. wire the switch, I put mine in the center console. when your car starts to flood out push the switch untill your car starts and then release it.. what you might want to do also is to have them cleaned too. what is happening is lne is stuck open and letting fuel into the chamber and

I just had a quick look at the 88 FSM and it seems that the wires are under the carpet near the driver's door. They should end up by the steering column somewhere. I wont have a chance to check it out until tomorrow night but as I said, I'll keep you informed on this...I might as well do some sort of how-to and post it with pictures and what not

Im telling you where the wires go to, and how to wire a switch in, if you want to put the switch under your dash, youll need about 6" of wire. Snip either of the blue wires, like I said, there are 2 on one prong, then run it to your switch, then the wire from your switch back to where you snipped the wire on the plug. And youre done.
