I recently purchased an '86 gxl. I can't seem to get it running. It will start with starting fluid, but dies. I replaced the fuel injectors and the fuel pump is putting out enough pressure. I don't think it is flooded because it will start with starting fluid. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I also might be willing to sell as a parts or project car.

Do you have a fuel/air meter? Could it be that it's running to lean?

You might want to make sure the fuel injectors are operating (you can generally hear them) just put a stethescope on the housing of the primary injectors if you can manage to get it down in there they are under the upper intake manifold right on the intermediate engine housing. Perhaps you have something clogging the fuel passages to the injectors? Not sure, have you tried disconnecting the fuel line near the fuel rail to see if it's seeing fuel pressure there? May want to check other parts of the EGI system, like the air flow meter (big aluminum thing on the air intake tubing right behind the air box)...
