Ok, soooo everything is ready. However ... i seemed to have lost my primary fuel injector seals! I cant find them anywhere, mazda wants about 8 bucks a seal and has to order them (2 to 3 days), and atkins wants 40 bucks (lol...). So my question is, does anyone know where i can get some?! Or something else i can use thats readily avaliable to me. Such as a regular O ring that fits snug between the block and the injector. Maybe if i double them up? etc... any little tricks anyone might know. I want to get it going by tonight, and thats the only thing holding me back.

Thanks!

I don't know if its the same or not, but I have a couple of lower and upper grommets for S4 injectors if you need them.

Could you not just go to a hardware store and pick up an assortment of o rings and see which fits the best?

I dont think that the injectors o rings are any kind of special kind of o ring.

Good luck

Go to the junk yard, that maybe your best bet. That is for tomorrow though .

And yes the injector seals are of special material and i would suggest you use dedicated injector seals. Doing otherwise is increasing the risk of a serious fire and this should not be taken lightly, I have seen a couple of 7's go up in smoke because of silly thoughts like these.

I got the seal kit at Advance Auto, Beck Arnley brand I believe. It had both O-Rings & the grommet in each kit.

Thanks for the help guys, i got it all figured out. Ecko stopped by and gave me the main thick o rings i was missing. From there I got it.

I tried calling napa, schucks, and any other store i could. None of them had any 'kits' for the rx7. And i didnt want to go in trying to guess what o rings would work. But im cool now.

thanks!
