My fuel guage is acting funny, and I was wondering if theres anyone out there that could help out? When I fill the tank it registers full, then about after 20 or so miles it falls all the way to empty. Theres obviously no fuel leak (I always reset the trip meter, and can go about 315 miles on a full tank). I suspect it could be the float in the gas tank. If so, would replacing the gas tank fix it?

Thanks,

Well you could always check the float. Pull up the carpet in the back hatch, then you will see a little door you can unscrew to get to the gas tank, then under that is anohter little sealed door to the actual tank in which ur pump is hooked up. Unscrew that, pull it out and you will see the float attatched to ur pump, check to see if its bent or anything, and im sure someone on here has the right specs it should be at to check it, maybe with a multimeter or something.
