just finished the removal process.

it only took a few hours... here's what i plan to replace:

2 coolant hoses

3 fuel hoses

4 injector o-rings

1 gasket

1 pd / fuel rail (i can't seem to remove the pd from the fuel rail)

all my vacuum lines are good..

one odd thing tho, i shook my pd and it was rattling... so i took the cap off my pd, and there was a screw unscrewed... so i screwed it back in, is this bad??

and i did check to see if my pd pulsed during idle.... i'm not sure what i was supposed to feel, but all i felt was the vibration of the engine and no pulsation.

now where can i get a pd and fuel rail for cheap??

My new PD rattles too. I think that works on fuel pressure.

As for buying a new PD, they aren't cheap. You'll need to look through the forums FS section or Mazdatrix. Mazdatrix wants $130 for the PD, but look around first. I met mazdadrifter and he so happen to have one and sold it to me for $20; so be patient and look around.

I don't know about the S5 PD working. But here come some pictures. There all compressed so DL speed will be faster...
