And the oil pressure gauge isn't working, I will play with it some but maybe go manual.

just clean the connection first. if sender is bad. i think its pretty cheap to get a brand new one

a little strange that it went out after the tranny swap, wondering if I disconnected something.

Got my Dad coming out tonight to take a look at it, maybe he wil have some ideas that I haven't thought of. **** is pissing me off though, oh well

The oil pressure sender is fairly close to that long *** starter bolt so its possible it got knocked off or something.





Take it to a dyno and have someone listen while you run it up :bigthumg:

LOL yea, that would cost money, but I may have to do it. Well I have serisouly been consifdering a manual oil pressure gauge, I have had problems with ostock gauges on pretty much every vehicle I have eer owned LOL. Putting the manual temp and OP in my Jeep was one of the best things I have ever done, prolly do the same in whitey and be safe!

Oh yea I checked the lead it was attached to the sensor, I will mess with it some, then order a real one

are you sure your noise is tranny related? noise is good at transmitting

No it's not the tranny cause I swapped it and still have the exact same issue, that is just the only place I can "feel" it.

I remember I had a bad u-joint in another car that was so ******* hard to see that it

had cracked, so obviously only under load was it evident.



Maybe have one of your AE pals lend you a driveshaft so you can eliminate that idea.

You had this noise from day 1 with the car?
