So, how come it ran fine when you first got it? Good to hear you got it going good. Are you going to the Krispy Kream thing this saturday? I'm planning on showing up.

Where is your exhaust leak? I hope it's not in-between the turbo and manifold, that can be a fun one to replace. I've done it twice on my AE.

it didn't run fine, if you rode in it before and you rode in it now it's like a totally different car, it was always off.

The exhaust leak is on the cat cut-out pipe cause the flanges are the wrong size. Yea I will prolly be there bu I am going to the motorcycle show at some point on Saturday.

as for the OP gauge check the ground near the exhaust, i had a guy replace my clutch/PP/etc.

and he had to take off the exhaust to get to it, and therefore had to remove the ground for the

gauge on the block, he forgot to put it back on, and I'm lazy...just extra incentive to check oil for

me (if i want the car to run anyway) but check that, since u changed the tranny I'm sure u had to

remove it....

I think I'm having the same problem as you Phinsup(symptoms are exactly the same, also thought it was my tranny). I'm taking it in to have the timing checked and corrected if need be. Hopefully I haven't caused any severe damage. Thanks your post may have saved my motor.

I was thinking motor mount too, but I would think it would try to jump out of the hood when you jumped on it. Have a buddy load it up with the brake on and see if the motor is moving around. My 88' RX7 had a broken mount when I removed the motor.

This also might sound silly, but Speedometer cable?

Phins again thanks. Turns my timing was off by 12 degrees. The car drove great for a day and now has a wierd coolant leak coming from the drivers side of the car. This crap is starting **** me off and scare me at the same time. Anyways thanks.
