Heres a pic of the bottom of my FC hope this helps.

Do you wash and wax the bottom of your car?

Yes, the NA tranny and t2 tranny very quite a bit. Is it all the way on the bottom, meaning there is no fluid? Is it threaded?

No fluid, no threads. I'm convinced it's the drainage/inspection hole.

You can sortof see a black raised disc just to the left of the bore for the long trans <-> engine bolt that the starter obscures when you install it, thats the top side of the plug.

The drain plug the dealership is referring to (weeper hole) is behind it just a bit to the left, you can see the casting contours how they lead to the hole so oil can drip out. Thats where you'll see oil dripping from when your front trans seal goes.

it's no big deal to have the plug gone, just might let some excessive moisture and dirt get up in there...

If it's the one I am thinking of in the bellhousing you wouldn't feel gears, you would feel the ring gear, but not multiple gears, this is supposed to have a rubber plug in it to keep the dirt and **** out.

aahhhh, very good. I'll see to getting that plug.
