well, the gears of the flywheel

not the gears of the transmission

so did you inspect while looking in the inspection hole?

I didn't have a flashlight in hand at the time, and I was focusing on the wiring. What should I inspect for? I should be under there tonight.

obviously leaks, and broken gears on the flywheel, I wouldnt

bother looking in there, you can only see so much.

ok, I'll just be sure to clean up around it, so that I could notice a leak later on if need be.

I think your tranny might be different underneath (n/a vs. TII). This plate is about where my hole is:

yes baldy, the NA tranny that our cars have is TOTALLY different. That plate is for changing the gearbox gut when jim blow his gearbox up lol jk
