i **** you not, fo r the last 8 hours i have been trying to pul my fly wheel off, i got the 2 and 1/8 inch nut off the flywheel, that was easy, i even have a fly wheel puller but the damn flywheel refuses to pop off! i dont understand, ive used half a bottle of wd-40 on it and im dead tired of ******* with it? anyone have this problem, i even had my buddy helping pry at it while i used the fly wheel puller!, arg!!!!!!!!!!!

Put the puller back on it and try hitting the flywheel off with a dead blow hammer.
You might have to rotate the flywheel around to keep it even coming off. I've heard of guys heating it up also. |
im afraid if i heat it up ill ruin the rear eccentric shaft oil seal?
|
i use a block of firewood. hit the crap out of it with the firewood works like a CHARM.... put on some gloves so you don't get splinters. i know its ghetto but it works https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

or warp it by heating it up, thats a mistake! im gonna try to put the puller back on it and hit it hard as hell, i even have a **** load of firewood, im so tired i dont even remember if i have done this already?lol

I just went around with a crowbar between it and the rear housing and it was off in under 5 minutes https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
