I had an extremly low idle so I adjusted the tps & throttle cable a bit.It seems to be around the right idle speed now but it keeps fluctuating like it's always on a cold start.Does the throttle stop screw need to be touching like this to keep it from fluctuating? It won't stop.

the idle stop screw wont do annything but move the "closing point" of your throttle plates.

aka dont touch it.

my car had a crappy idle and it was very jumpy when i bought it.... so i junked most of the idle system and before i took it apart it idled perfectly at 700rpms nice and smooth. of course that route is for the brave only since some have had worst problems come up form doing that.

id reccommend cleaning all your idle parts, make sure no vaccuum leaks, blah blah blah the same routine ****.

kevin.
