lordy, i can't think or any turbo cars that don't, with the exception of the early turbo dodges
|
so should i be able to hear that or am i in trouble if i can't and where is it
|
Break out your FSM, its call a recirculation valve on their i think. No you probably won't be able to hear it. Trace the routing from the turbo compressor outlet to the throttle body and you'll find it, and learn more than if i just told you where it is.

I wasn't really going to bend the MC guys, sheezzz..what do u take me for? lol.
I'll probably just end up cutting the pipe. Next I'm getting a new radiator and after that I'll see where my intake will be...on the stock turbo I probably will be doing a CAI custom setup of some sort...but when the GT35/40 gets on..filter goes smack on the inlet!...for drag..no filter at all https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
you were thinking of bending it, and there was some talk of padding
dont lie, lol |
you must cut pipe grasshopper
|
cutting pipe is easier and cheaper then having a throttle body collector thingy machined
|
Wow, adding FMIC creates a lot more air volume between the AFM and ports . . .

So other than a mild increase in boost lag, is there any other drawback (delay in afm readings when opening throttle for example)? I am curious as I may try fabbing in an eaton roots with an intercooler between my throttle body and manifold, for this car:
