I have an 89 gtu, it has the 6pi and the vdi, Now do both the 6pi and the vdi open at the same time? Because i dont think either one of mine is working, the solinoids work but theres no pressure at the solinoid valve's, i think my acv might not be working but thats besides the point. I was thinking about tapping into the hose that comes off of the airpump and connects to the acv, run 2 vac lines one to the vdi solinoid and one to the 6pi solinoid. I was also thinking about wiring an led inside that lights when the 6pi kicks on

Update^^^^^^^^^^

This system works 100% perfect, vdi and 6pi open as soon as the solinoid valve opens.

So far this setup is great, i love the led inside the car, its kinda like the v tech light in them hondas.

Awesome, I wish I had a sure-fire way to know my aux. ports were working properly all the time.
