I'll pm you and wok somethingout when the time comes. its gonna be a while, I'm just figureing out stuff and planning ahead of time for the project.

Actually, one of the bigger problems is the fact that FD turbos can be mounted closer to the engine. The lower intake manifold has a lower profile, and FD's run their turbos closer - most of these aftermarket turbo exhaust manifolds just will not work.



I know the XS Engineering units for the FD cannot fit on the FC without some kinda spacer.

If I got another flange from, say, racingbeat and put it inbetween the manifold and the engine would that space it out enough? I know i need a second gasket, but it still would save me some cash.

Ted I know this as well, but with the new flange being added to the manifold he could basically angle the new flange for the spacer issue, like I said, he would be using mine for a fit issue, if it works out, we can work the deal. If he finds that the manifold does not meet his expectations, he ships it back, no harm, no foul https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png Its a lot better than buying one for the same purpose and not being able to return it.

well. um. due to financial issues, and to the fact that I really do not have any time to do it, this project is going to be put on hold for a few years, till I finish college and get a job and have a steady income.



Thanks to everyone for their time and advise, and camel, thanks for the offer on the manifold.



being that I am only 17, and am about to start my senior year, I know that I will want to spend my money and time on things other than the car. I'm not getting rid of the car, I'm just going to store it till after college.
