FD trannys seem to hold down more power though, without breaking...


most peoples trans' break because they dont know how to shift.



as long as its a smooth shift power cant really blow a tranny unless maybe you can frag the input shaft.

Suburu's used to be quite fond of stripping teeth off the gears. I havent actually seen that sort of damage on a mazda transmission yet though.

i havnt broken a trans yet. i guess that means im a good driver.



so as long as i keep shifting smooth, i can just stay with my NA trans.....yeahhhh.

Want an example? Use Aaron Cake's FC. N/A trans and driveline with a half bridge and HUGE turbo.

Cheaper, readily available, and they BOLT IN!



You could be fabing something wothwhile, instead your bustin ***** for essentially the same trans with a different case..

You ever met him? He also knows how to not break his gearbox too.

Most people who actually know what they are doing know how to not break a gearbox too. Lol.



I am going on 3 years with the TII engine, NA trans. I am not making 400hp, but according to the naysayers, it shouldn't be able to handle 'stock TII HP levels'.

And on the same note, I broke the **** out of a n/a trans with a streetported 6 port engine, by driving like an *******... I had plenty of spares though.
