Whats the best diameter pipe to use? At the mo it's three inches from the turbo back with 1 resinator and custom muffler. This system is far to loud! I need to get the db level

down to about 85-90db so I can get a WOF

Should I split it half way down and run two 2inch pipes to two mufflers?

Also I really don't want to lose any power

Thanks

is this a turbo car or a na car. i ran the racing beat header and presilencer with a 60mm hks cat back and it was quiet, though louder then stock when wide open but not very loud.

if this is turbo weld in a 3" borla xr-1 race buller someplace just after the down pipe and then run a good muffler , use a stainless steel packed muffler like the borla. and also remove the resinator , that is actually increesing the volume of the exhaust note.

Yeah its a turbo, we don't have to run cats in New Zealand (yet). I'm not sure if I can get that Borla brand here, but thanks any way

i run a 3.5 inch exhaust from the turbo to the tail pipe tip with the above mentioned borla muffler set up and its mid level noisey, i mean its not quiet but its not loud.

I think its about foot 1/2 or about 500cm long, the muffler is a custom one that they use on the race cars here, it's not HKS or anything like that. I think it's more for na cars like bridgeports
