I put a bonez superflo on my NA.. now i'm just gonna take that off and go with headers instead.. I already have the noise level.. might as well get some extra power out of it -=)

Yeah, I think I'm gonna get the headers and the RP cat-back, and just straight pipe it between them. There are not inspections here in Oklahoma anymore anyways. Thanks for all the help.

if you get the RB headers and plan on a straight pipe replacing the main cat, just get the RB presilencer, that combination works well and it improves the tone a bit. That along with the RP cat-back would be great.

so would headers with a high flow cat or maybe even straight pipes to the stock mufflers basically give u the same power with a little nicer tune? or would the mufflers kill the whole setup?

my stock mufflers sounded like **** with the header + presilencer setup. And after a bunch of driving w/afterburn they degraded quickly. The stock mufflers arent going to tolerate the torture recieved with no cats before them.

My buddy had that done, and yes it did sound bad. My car with no muffs/no cats sound like my car with headers and mufflers. I think my car sounded the best when it had no cats and mufflers, headers make the car way too loud. Be way better off spending the $$$ on some nitrous, headers/silencer would be the same price.

I really like the way my car sounds with the RB headers, presilencer, Y pipe, and mufflers. Before putting on the RB Y and mufflers it was very annoying, but those RB mufflers made a world of difference. I mean to the point that I wanted to beat off in the car first time I started it after installation. :yum:

I love the way it sounds at idle though, like a wild cam v8. My mufflers are pretty straight through, they don't really do any mufflings. I want Rb muffs though, they sound so nice!

I didn't have to do any mods to my vert when I put on the true dual exhaust.
