Just for future reference. . . .

If one were to say, get rid of your cats wouldn't the car be way to loud with just the normal muffler?

Well, on my car I have no cats and its really not that loud. At least thats what I think. Sure does sound better than any of those hondas. BTW: I have 3" piping straight through.

Is this on a Turbo or a N/A?

The Turbo Charger act's as a pre silencer and a spark arester.

On a N/A 13B I'd say it would be way too loud.

I've got the dual exhaust on my vert, and it is WAY LOUD! Any time you open up the exhaust on an NA it gets pretty damn loud.

You know your car is too loud when your exhaust viberates your rear view mirror more than your bass does.

I have an N/A with a race pipe on in place of the cat and an APEXi n1. I really didn't think it to loud but I did get some complaints about it so i put in the silencer just to make them happy for a while LOL. I guess it depends on what you think is loud and as long as cops dont eye you then you are ok
