1/4 inch or 5/16 wheel spacer to fit an 8 wide inch rim with 225/40/16 tire.....will these spacers be enough?

depends on the wheel offset....



i had 235/35/17's with no spacers....

i have 255/40r17 in the rear and 225/45r17 in frount with no spacer on a 8" wheel

well...there stock FD wheels. everyone tells me i NEED spacers. but you two seem to have larger wheels with no problem.

you need spacers in the front, fd wheels have a different offset.
