LMAO! It was fun. I wish I would have thought of the fact that you have a hoist. And at least Travis hurt himself doing something a little harder than an oil change. LOL! I'm just glad the engine is out. The car looks like a 4x4 now in the front. After looking through the exhaust ports, the damage doesn't look too bad. We'll see after I get the thing apart though. I'm sure it'll be a little while before I get it apart, because I am having surgery on my wrist tomorrow, and will be non-functional for a week or two. Thanks again for the help Travis. Now I'm going to go clean up my mess and tools before the auto x today.

 

Geez and to think I use a Cheery picker or if its a parts car, the front end loader on the tractor

 

wow, thats hard core. back in the day we had a comealong in the ceiling it was just 2 2x4's nailed together

My step dad has pulled motors with backhoes, and When I had to move my old chevy motor when I had it, we used the tail gate on a dump truck to pick up the engine and then drive it were I wanted and put it back on the enine stand.



But know all I have to use is a nice motor puller. siggggghhhh.
