Unhappy

I've noticed lately that my turbo isn't spooling up like normal. The engine is also blowing a lot of white smoke if I really get into the gas. It also gets very sluggish when the tach hits about 5,000 rpm. Does anyone have any suggestion s for me. I'm in need of some help, BAD!

You might need a turbo. Take off your intercooler and see if it has oil in it.

That sounds like a busted turbo. Pull the intake system off all the way down to the turbo inlet and check the turbo... how bad is the endplay? how bad is the shaft play? pull the intercooler, check for oil in the intercooler lines, you can also check to see if there is oil on your exhaust tips...

..you said it was white smoke though and usually oil is a blueish color...white could be coolant. Has the car overheated lately at all? How many miles are on the engine?

The engine hasn't come close to over heating. Its got 139,000 on the motor. I've been running th car like normal and here the past couple days everything is running fine after the engine is warmed up. I'm soo confused.

You should check the compression levels in your rotor chambers.

-I had a similar problem, blowing a lot of white smoke, a strange hesitation on the rpm ride, and it turned out that I had zero compression in one of my chambers due to an apex seal breaking off the rotor and ripping around the housing... it was not a good look.
