I like to keep the fuse pulled until the car starts, only then do I put them back in, there is so much fuel in there the car will start on it own then die out, maybe if your lucky you can have someone help you and one throw the fuse back in when it starts. ORRR you can put my switch in under the dash and simply flick the switch when it floods then flip it back when it starts and you wont have to dick with the fuses.

run a on-off switch to the blue wire in the set of wires that is to the right of the steering column, one side of the plug is yellow if I remember right and there is like 6-8 wires in the set. Snip the blue wire, run it to the on off switch, then run a length of wire back to the blue wire in the plug from the on off switch.

ok, on rx7.com the writeup said pull the EGI COMP fuse, not the EGI INJ fuse. which is it?

I always succeed at taking something easy and making it complicated.

Try this. If I need to move my 86 a short ditance and turn it off before it is warm, I rev the engine to about 4 or 5k RPM as I shut it down (turn the key off). This seems to work for me. Not sure why.
