ok when i was driving home my ec light came on for just a second. i check the codes and got an 8 and a 17. the 8 is the air flow meter, the 17 is the feedback system for the o2 sensor. are these important and what do they mean. also what can i do to fix them?

i cleared the codes and then ran it for about 30 seconds. nothing came back when i checked it again. i dont know if it would have or not in that short time. would it matter if i have a k&n in my stock airbox? also after i cleared the codes it doesnt make this rumbly noise it was making before when the revs would decline from 3000-2000.

it might have something wrong with it or it might have just been a fluke. if the codes come back then theres a realy problem
