This means the v4 and v4+ REQUIRES an alternate pair or ignitors or a two-channel ignition "box" to handle the trailings.
Do you see the disadvantage to this now?

you dont need the toggle function, paul figured out a way to fire the 20b coils with an e11. i think i know how to fire fc coils with an non toggling ecu too. think about it for a few minutes, its simple

But how do you step up the signal that the ignitor normally does to get the coil to fire?
I mean a Microtech with built in ignitors can do that, but how does a Haltech?

Yeah with CDI boxes, it's simple.

you can keep the factory ignitor. you're not thinking 4th demensionally. what does the ignitor want to see as a signal?

T1 = trigger ON, toggle OFF
T2 = trigger ON, toggle ON
But how do you get that from a discrete two-channel output?
EMS T1 = channel 1 ON, channel 2 OFF
EMS T2 = channel 1 OFF, channel 2 ON
Man, either I'm overthinking this, or the logic just doesn't fit...

split t2 so it fires the trigger AND the toggle. i havent tried it but i think paul might have with the 20b coils.

Im not in need of doing research, by toggle i thought you meant a physical toggle. Anyway im not here to make myself look smart or anything, im here to discuss, i said i wasnt sure, no need to attack me like a young'un.
anyway i believe in the control manual it says how to use stock ignitors by splitting the lines.
there's a setup that looks just like stock IIRC, it involves using 3 ignitiion outputs and splitting the third.
In a bit of a rush but tomorrow ill bring home my manual and double check it, could be wrong.
