I used this as a guide for removing all my emissions after the install of my Haltech. This guy did a good job detailing almost everything. There are some things that are wrong for the 89-91 cars, but otherwise I foung this very helpful. Some things to buy before doing the work: block off plates, hose clamps, sylicone hose kit w/ zip ties, about 6 feet of 5/16 inside diameter fuel injection rated fuel line, about 2 feet of 3/8 inside diameter fuel injection rated fuel line( for brake booster line that comes off the uim and goes to the metal vacuum line on the firewall), assorted rubber nipples (to cover the open vacuum nipples that won't be used anymore). I think that's it except for the tools to tak the stuff off.

Here's the link : emissions removal

Forgot to mention that while you are under the uim you might want to eleminate or replace the coolant line that runs from the rear housing to the uim. Please don't flame me for using the evil forum for the detailed info. If someone feels spunky enough they can type all the directions he put up there in a different post so that we don't have to keep using the link. I just don't have the time and also I'm a slow typer, so it would take me like a week to type it all.

so basically what that link is telling me... Is that i can remove all of the above listed things from my engine.. and not have to worry about drivability?

I have some emissions stuff gone now.. (Just cats)

BUt i would love to clean my engine bay even further.

Question : By removing all the emissions equipment and peices. Does it effect daily Drivability

Relisys190 Keep in mind that you may need an engine management system to remove some of this stuff. If you have the engine management system then by all means remove all of the stuff listed. if you don't have one check with some other people and see what they have removed. With the engine management system the only problem that I've run into is cold start flooding. I think that this may be caused by the fact that I only have rough tuning done right now. I'll give you a better opinion of how affects daily drivability in a couple weeks when the tuning is finished.
