Emergency Brake Light?

The light goes on and off but the e brake isn't on....wtf.

Hmm..Well whatever. Its probably your brake fluid level. Check it and add some if need be.

check your fluid level in the brake master cylinder, that light is also to warn of a low fluid level

it might also be the ground wire on your your e-brake. maybe it's loose? check the center counsel.

your fluid level is probably just low enough that when the front of the car lifts on acceleration it sets off the low fluid sensor, then when it levels out fluid covers it and the sensor goes off.



mine does this alot.



if youre brake pads arent shot (the only time fluid SHOULD go down is when your pads wear away, the low fluid level is supposed to be a sign to change your pads) you have a fluid leak.



probably your ABS pump or master cylinder.

It's not my imaginary car.I lied and said it was mine when someone complamented and thought it was mine lol. Oh well...it wont happen again.

yeah my light was doing the same, filled the fluid it went off but then checked the pads and they were shot.

prob a good idea to check em

so yeah, what they said, brake fluid just doesnt go low, its either leaking

or the brake pads are low.
