Weeeellll...~

I finally got it off and found a lovely burnt mark on the harness for the switch. my first question is, can i somehow repair it myself (i doubt it)?

Secondly, where would be a good online palce to maybe order it? Mazda basically told me to go screw myself with a price of $284.67, and ye local junkyard has it for about 65 bucks.

Thanks again guys.

you can try cleaning it up and replacing the burned wire and putting it back in and see if it works. All else fails, wire in a toggle switch for the parking lights until you find a cheap working light switch.

Well I went to the junkyard and took advantage of their 5 finger discount on their headlight switches. $60 my ***... anyways, I lost the screw to it so I'll probably just tape it in. Another happy ending!

Wanted to give a big thanks to DJ Giantrobot.
