Well, after 3 days of tinkering and about $450 in tools, fuel, and parts, my FC is alive and running! got A LOT of vacuum leaks but I still have cash to play with. Right now it idles okay, but it's burning through gas kinda quick, but then again who knows the stature of my fuel system. New plugs and injectors was all it took so far, so with some luck my Christmas present will be a nice solid FC Took it around the block and it moves pretty quick, the clutch is pretty solid too; for $500 I think I got pretty lucky!

Nice job. It will probably drink a lot of gas if its got a vacuum leak.

I'd recommend building yourself a code reader if you plan on doing any diagnostics/repairs on your own. It will save you time and money in the long run... it saved my *** a few times:

Thankfully vacuum lines are cheap and available in multiple sizes at any parts store. Some of them you can just plug though like the evap system lol

awesome, that probably explains why fuel goes missing so fast. That or there's an actual fuel leak :s But it runs and the straight pipes give it a pretty interesting sound; gotta say it doesn't have the nice purr my 3000GT had, but it sounds like a killer bee, and I like that too.

Check to make sure the new injectors were pressed in all the way.
