Is the mas airflow compatable between the two years and is the intake the same since they are both 13b's

 

88 to 89 (s4 to s5) comparo. the intake manifolds are diffenrt but with a little machining you can put an s5 upper intake on the s4 bottom. as for the mafs, ya there way differnt ,, you would need to do alot of wireing and posibly change over to an s5 computer . we have put the s5 maf, s5 harness and s5 ecu into ower s4 race car and also ran the whole s5 intake manifold upper and lower with an s4 tb and frount cover for the mechanical oil injection.





bottom line anything is posible just ask yourself do you have the time , money and skill to pull off the job.

 

It's not just a plug and play swap.
