I did this mod this weekend and its great. My previous oil pressure was at 50psi@3000rpm's and up, now i see 60psi@3000rpm's and near 90-100 beyond. And i don't see low oil pressure when the engine is cold. Its just one of those peace at mind mods.

You can find it at http://www.mazdatrix.com/b5.htm . I have one in my motor. My oil pressure is fine when the motor is cold, but when it gets hot it gets a little lower. I modified my oil pressure regulator to get more pressure, but it's the same thing. It may be the gauge. One of these days I'll get an aftermarket gauge to make sure it's just the gauge.
