dude, you're gonna have to buy a mini-torch from Home Depot or something and burn that bitch off. You'll also need to buy a mini-welding kit to get it back on. Either that, or just find some way to hold them in place temporarily so that you can drive your car to the nearest muffler shop. They shouldn't charge you more than $20-30 to get them welded back on.

how about you get a picture so we know what it is your talking about

those arent stock so who knows what someone bolted up there

you can dick around with some rusty old bolts that you cant get to or you can

cut them off- saws all might work, cut off wheel on a dremel might even work

if no torch is handy

with no pic its hard to say

i'll get a picture in the morning or later tonight if i can, it's hard to see because it's inbetween what looks like the gas tank, the wheel well, and the heat shield for the muffler, so it's really hard to get to, im just gonna goto sears tomorrow i think and charge either a dremel tool like you say or a mini torch like mentioned earlier

Does it look like "N" or "O" in the picture?

If so you could probably work them off by unbolting the rest of the exhaust and then going at it. I would just try and unbolt them though, spray some PB blaster on the bolts.
