ok, i got a new driveshaft today that i need to put in, i have the entire exsaust almost off, but there's two freakin straps i can't get off that's behind the muffler's, how the hell can i get those off???

it's one of those rubber thing's that goes over a small bar of metal to hold it in place... i dont really know how to explain it much better then that, i can't un-bolt it cause there's not enough room, and i cant seem to get enough leverage to get it to slip out of it

i got the doughnuts off, these are kind of like oval's behind the mufflers, there bolted to the body

LOL - THOSE ARE A BITCH!



You're either going to have to try really hard to get the bolts out in a true mechanical manner, or you're going to have to go barbarian style and burn it off with a torch, then just weld them back on when you're ready to reinstall.

sounds like a muffler bracket someone put there to hold the mufflers in place, why dont you just cut them?

nope, diffrent from that, they look stock to me, there just a bitch to get off, and i dont have a torch or anything to cut it off, i've got all of the exsaust except for that part of and it's really startin to bug me
