my car overheats with normal driving

just got the thermostat changed and still overheats

when i looked i found my down pipe gasket torn in half and when i rev the motor i can feel a great amount of exhaust gas escaping, could this be the cause of my motor overheating????

Cant be too good. Id change it. Pineapple Racing has some pretty decent aftermarket ones. Affordable too. I just replaced mine.

No that exhaust gasket is not causing your overheating. Do you still have the factory undertray on the car? Check to make sure you don't have any air bubbles in your system and that you clutch fan is still working. Make sure you are still using the factory clutch fan shroud also...

You need the under tray on the car. You should also go back to the factory clutch fan( mechanical stock unit) and its shroud. That will solve your problems..
