The problem is not many FC owners are willing to spend the money for even a mass-produced cf part, and on top of that, they cant agree on a single design for a mass produced part. When you want custom things I cant expect to sell more than a couple of, you have to pay a custom price.
If you can dream it up, I can make it out of carbon fiber. If you can pay for it, I will make it.

Oh I completely agree. I'm not saying that the pricing is bogus because it's not. I'm saying that FC owners are cheap bastards. I've seen how many times FC owners will say oh my gosh yeah I'll buy that count me down for one, then once the price comes out they back off.
