I have a 90 t2 which I bought with no driver's side lock cylinder in the door. I finally got around to buying another cylinder and and went to install it with my trusty mazda shop manual, only to discover that I couldn't find ANY description of how to replace a lock cylinder. So I went to try and do it myself. I got the inside door panel off easily enough, and I can fit the lock cylinder into place from the inside... but I can't see what holds the cylinder in place. I'm also unsure of how to hook up the bar which runs from the lock cylinder to... ??? I'm trying to do this without removing my window, but I'm not sure it's easy to do. Anybody know of a decent write up on how to do this? or can provide a detailed explanation of how it's supposed to hook up? Or better yet, the #@$%ing page number in the shop manual? lol, I would have thought something like this would be in there, but I looked forever...

I have an aftermarket alarm system, automatic locks, and a power window, if this affects anything. Thanks guys!
