Well, this past thursday...I fellow rx7 owner in my town who was 19 at the time, enjoyed working on his '86 SE...I only met him about a week ago, was street racing down a popular hot spot in our town. After beating the guy he was racing, he didn't slow down...he was in excess of 120MPH...coming to the "T" in the road which has a stop sign, he only managed to slow the rx7 down to 80MPH before flying into the embankment. He was seriously injured, and his rx7 is no more(I have pics, but wont show because of family reasons)...he was on life support throughout the weekend w/ brain damage. He finally past away last night. Unfortunately, he just purchased a 1988 T2(which is how i first met him) and he never got a chance to enjoy it...this is just to show that street racing is not always glorious, and there are dangers involved...I hate seeing people get killed, especially fellow rxers...take it easy everyone!

You are so very right our city streets are not for racing but we do it anyway and we know the risk involved with it. I am sorry this happened and my prays go out to the family and friends of this young man, it is always sad when one so young dies and from something like this it is even more sading.

Please my fellow RXers be save.

I am glad that you didn't post the pics too. that would have been disrespectful, I am glad that you showed better judgement.

Talking

Being an avid Motorycyclist and being active on the streetbike scene this is unfortunately news I hear on occasion.

RIP and best wishes to his family and friends.
