I don't care much for the PS and the only reason I left it on during my conversion was because I was thinking I would have to change over to a manual steering rack to remove the Power steering...is this true? Can't I just pull the pump and bracket off and forget about it. The car will mostly be used on the track and I don't like the looks of the ugly *** bracket, not to mention..I love getting extra HP

yes... you can keep the power steering (rack)
But it will be very heavy, i dont have PS on my car, and i love it. took about 2 weeks to get use to it..
and dont even think about turning while stopped.. lool
If you do get a manual steering rack it's very easy to drive. almost to easy...
so i just took the pump off, and than removed all the hoses. Love it. so much more room in the engine bay
especially not having A/c or an air pump Just a motor and alt.. lol pretty sweet
