< I used that Night Shades spray, but use it from behind, take the lens out and lay it flat so the paint goes in evenly and doesnt run down. Sometimes in my pics the flash jumps off the lenses and you cant tell they are shaded. You can do the same for all your other lenses as well. I have seen people use it on the outside, but it looks like ****. Besides, if you use just the right amount, it looks stock, and the cops dont bother you one bit. You can polish the outside of the lenses themselves, I also painted my lens surrounds, which were crackly looking from being a few years old. Use a plastic polish for the actuall lens, or a polishing glaze from 3M like Finesse III or pretty much any of thier polishing glazes. Same can be done for the flash to pass lenses if they arent too road rashed. Send me your lenses, Ill paint them. I did mine 2 years ago, no peeling or chipping to this day!
Think it would be a problem with the round tailights?

Hate decals personally, I purposely removed all the emblems from my trunk, and the decal from the front bumper of my car. Clean will never go out of style. If you do order such a large decal, make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing install it for you. I know it may sound easy, but take it from someone who installs vinyl and also paints decals/stripes/graphics, it isnt always as easy as you would think ( making sure its going to go on straight, no bubbles, creases ). A good thing to use is room temperature water with just a touch of Johnsons Baby Shampoo in a spray bottle, and hopefully the company you buy it from supplies you with a good spreader/applicator, otherwise buy one from a local sign shop.

Agreed, I even shaved the "mazda" off the front of my car. Looks way sweet!! ROBx-7 how did you get your tailight s so dark and shiny? That looks cool. Use tint? Inside or out?

I'm not the biggest fan of decals and I really didn't like the ones in The Fast and Furious, but like everybody said its your car and you can do what you want with it, so have fun. I think some stickers are cool like TreceB's, but some people can over do it. I would stay away from anything that mentions type"R"

Well It's being done as I type! My friend from a local sign shop is here putting on my decal from the fast and the furious rx7. And I think you guys are right, but it really looks great!!! My 88T2 AE has been repainted a brillant white with a white frost/silver pearl, and awesomedecals.com matched up the colors that I sent them, and even cut it to fit my car so it wouldn't look odd b/c it was orig. for the 3rd gen rx7. Anyway he should be done later today b/c it such a large decal, and I'm only putting the main decal on the car and not the logos or brands that comes w/it. I will try to get a digital camera from my work and put it on the site. Who knows maybe I'll take it off after a while if, my buddy doesn't threaten to kill me after he's done.....later

< Look for the reply on how to do it. I also dont see any problems doing it with the round lenses. I think the whole large decal thing is more popular on the west coast?

Personally I like the Rotary Engine sticker from Mazdatrix, as well as one or two stickers by vendors you really like and more importantly...USE!

If thats what you want to do to YOUR car, then go do it. And remember, the yellow ones make your car faster! I felt kind of ricey putting 2 x 10 racing beat sticker on my car.
Yah, I herd anything yellow or anything that says speed or power on it adds up to 10hp per inch in the ricers hand book. And if you have a yellow car that says speed on it in big letters it's the ****
