ok i have an 89 t2.



i have a dashpot.



read rest of mods in sig.



is removing the dashpot a good or bad thing.

Theres no real advantage to it unless you just dont likes the look of it.

you have two dashpots...and all they do is give more luxuries and less snappy feel when getting off the throttle by letting the plates slowly close



at least im pretty sure thats what they do

yeah I vote for removal, they like to get sticky causing throttle to bind up on return, making it sometimes not return to idle properly when you let off the gas slowly.

The only time they helped was when I had the AC on and i let off the throttle abruptly, the engine would not stall out.

i only thought i had one, where is the second one?



and good thing everyone agrees on the removal, i didnt feel like putting it back in lol.

meh i think theres only one, the only thing on the other side is the tps i think.
