you have two dashpots...and all they do is give more luxuries and less snappy feel when getting off the throttle by letting the plates slowly close

at least im pretty sure thats what they do

J-Rat 10-23-2003 01:08 AM

Yup,

I removed mine. Plus the can aid in the production of flames... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

tyeah...snap shut and close fast let fuel out burn pow flame

pengaru 10-23-2003 02:37 AM

yeah I vote for removal, they like to get sticky causing throttle to bind up on return, making it sometimes not return to idle properly when you let off the gas slowly.

turborotor 10-23-2003 02:47 AM

The only time they helped was when I had the AC on and i let off the throttle abruptly, the engine would not stall out.

teknics 10-23-2003 06:35 AM

time out, i have two dashpots?

i only thought i had one, where is the second one?

and good thing everyone agrees on the removal, i didnt feel like putting it back in lol.
