I'll ask him what hes making it out of. BigT and I were starting to think last night that the hood scoop is too tall also. We like the rest of it though, big scoop is really functional! The sides of the scoop are also being rounded and the inner edge changed..

yeah the hole looks huge right now becuase the sloping shround piece isn't even in place yet. the maker says he can produce them out of f/b or c/f, of course the c/f will cost more and i believe will be a tad heavier.

I won't judge until I see the final product..but I do challenge the fact that it will weigh 10#s...even in CF. IF it does weigh that much...I'll take a little more weight just to be that much safer in a front end collision..

I like the functionality of the hood. The shroud to the bottom of the radiator is a great Idea. I think the size of the hole is perfect considering the plans for the shroud, but I can see how the scoop might be a little better looking if brought down a **** hair and made a little more shallow.
