the bitch still isnt running------bought a new compression guage set today so tomorrow ill see what i can get out of the engine----all in all im lost with it- with plugs out and turning over im getting nice and even "puffs" .....now i did install a mazdatrix fuel bleed off kit when she died on me and hasnt run since-----and that brings me to a question that i hadnt even thought of when starting this post-----im getting fuel out of the bleed kit only when engine is turning over and not when the key is turned on like i have with every other car---is this from the bleed kit?

any advice on where to start in getting the thing running again would be great-hell ill even share my girlfriend for advice that leads to my baby running agian--lol

The stock ECU only keeps the fuel pump on when the motor is either cranking or running. If you just turn the key to the on position the fuel pump will go on momentarily. Is the pressure staying in the fuel lines? Does it seem like it's getting flooded when you start it?

the car was running perfectly then i came to a light and it had died while i was coasting to a stop. i tried to start it and it did the same thing that it always does when it floods. so i left it there when i went to go get my tools and the bleed off kit had come in while gone so i went back and put it on while i was removing the plugs, blowing out the engine,adding atf, and reinstalling them. i have fuel going into the fuel rails when starting and i seem to have spark (ouch) and i should have air. so what am i missing?
