Yeah, leave it alone. If you know how to weld you can weld it together but for something that small, I'd leave it alone.

Okay, I'm porting the wastegate and putting it back on. I ditched the A/C compressor last night. Is it just me, or is all this **** under the hood really hard to get at? I had to pull the battery (of course) and take the pulley and clutch off the compressor just to get to the lower front mounting bolt. Took me longer than I thought it would, just like everything else! It's a Denso compressor, turns over smoothly. Anybody want it? I don't know if it works, but I'd say it's a good bet.



How big does this wastegate port need to be?

Take the spare Jap out of the trunk and make him do it, that's what he's there for. Didn't you read the part in the owners manule about spare mazda tech in trunk?
