matter of opinion and what you have in front of the cat back (cats, etc)

I think its safe to say they're pretty loud.

I have a racing beat DP Racingbeat hi flow cat and the CS catback. It is Loud but I like the way it sounds alot. The optional silencer is worth the money it quiets it down ALOT imo

ECKO u dont know how happy i am that u said that the silencer helps alot...thats one of the things i was primarily worried about....cant wait to get it on..it'll help out so much just to atleast replace the CRAP system it has on right now..thats pretty much the same sutp i'll have ...i just got my magnaflow 2.5" cat and it has some header on it..dont know who made that though

Your car will proably be louder than mine if it has a header being that it is non turbo. I like the CS cat back but the main reason i bought it was that it was cheep and I needed some thing to get my N/A to TII swap on the road. The only reason that like the Apexi N1 is more expensive is taht alot of catback systems have a muffler of some sort inbetween the cats and the "muffler" that sticks out the back which the cork sport dosent have. You could easily have an exhaust shop weld one in at a later date when you have more money if its too loud for you. As far as the Silencer goes it sort of makes the car sound like it has an exhaust leak but im sure they are all like that, But it silences it quite a bit in my oppnion. Its worth the $20 if it saves you from an exhaust ticket. Honestly though I have been driving with out my silencer 95% of the time just because I kinda like the uncorked sound. If I have to go through down town seattle or some where I know there are going to be cops I just put it in. I carry it in the car withg a little wrench and allen, no biggie. But neways yeah you cant really beat price if you dont mind loud cars.

n/a or turbo?

n/a I think it's too loud unless you have a cat still

turbo - it should be fine I would recommend some type of presilencer or mid muffler tho

Ecko, do you have the 3 inch RB DP/presilencer, or the 2.5 inch setup? Any problems with the installation?
