I have it on my 89 gxl NA. It sounds good right now, some people say it's loud but I don't think it really is. I've heard that if you get a high flow cat and or headers then it will get very loud. But i'm happy with it and I have stock cat and headers.

it will definitely be loud if you have a header/midpipe combo. On my friend's 86 GXL, it was loud enough that we could hear it idle a mile away down my (country) road. On my TII, it was quiet, but it will definitely be loud on an N/A. Sound quality is excellent in my opinion, and it's hard to beat, bang for the buck.

Yeah it's great if you have stock header and cat. I want to get a high flow cat but I want to hear it on somebody else's car before I do. The only problem I had at first was when I installed it, it was touching on the cutout on my bumper cover and would melt some paint when i started the car, but all I had to do was bend a couple hangers and now it it close but doesn't bubble the paint or anything. It fits really snug and doesn't wiggle around like many other cars.

I have the corksport on my 88 TII and an Apexi setup on my 88 n/a, and I think the Apexi is much better. It sounds much better and I'm also getting discoloration on the corksport after only one year. I know the corksdport is cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

Actually a high flow cat will make it A LOT quieter. header on the other hand, LOUD!

i had that catback. i had that with a magnaflow highflow cat, and pacesetter header. in my opinion i liked it. it may have discolored a little but it does serve its purpose. at cruise i couldnt hear it at all. you can learn how to drive it quiet. i actually just sold mine on ebay for 185. that ssautochrome is basically the same thing i think except it doesnt have a corksport badge welded on the side of the tip. i loved the sound in decceleration while still in gear. it had this nice sounding gurgle. DONT get the silencer. it doesnt really quiet it too much. and it sounds like **** with it in. its a high pitched brap brap brap sound. later
