Ok, Last night i did my TB mod, i also removed the bac valve and egr valve

in doing so i lost alittle coolant, no prob. well after getting it all back together i refilled the coolant. here's the thing i do NOT have a coolant overflow tank, i havnt had one in about 6 months and never had a problem. Now i think i have air in the system, cause it's seeping right from the radiator cap.... question : Can i let the air out by running the car at idle to remove air from the system?

Yes. That's the best way to do it anyways.

cool, thanks.. ok, that problem is fixed. Another one arises, and i'm sure it has something to do with me removing my dashpots, EGR, BAC and completing a FULL TB mod.

Well, i took the car for a drive after completing the BAC remove EGR remove and FULL TB mod. She runs great, i noticed a little more power in 2nd 3rd gear above 5500 rpms.

Only real question is, when i'm downshifting and i'm letting the revs fall from about 4k in any gear a get a synconized popping noise from the exhaust... very light little pops and what ever that is...it's also hindering my engine brake performance. Is there something i can adjust to get better engine brake? TPS?

CHEERS, and THANKS!

Make sure you do something about the overflow tank. You need one.

You may not have a problem now, but when you do, you're gonna wish you had one.

the lack of overflow tank, wtf is up with that?

you realize when your **** goes past 14PSI or whatever your cap is set at it's going to leak the coolant out, then it's going to suck air in when it cools. get the overflow tank in there, it serves a real purpose.

The Cap is set to 13psi. Hurrrm, strange, I've been running like this for months with no problems. But i'll be sure to get a tank asap. Any idea's about better engine brakes? When i hear the popping sounds from the exhaust while downshifting i can FEEL it hindering engine brakeing I use to get a nice smooth downshift, now it's herky jerky under 4k (in gear)

That's the TB mod, you probably removed the dashpot too, right? You're getting rapid throttle drop, and backfire in the exhaust. Most of us ignore that, or enjoy the coolness of it

Make sure you do a full tuneup now, timing/TPS. What is your exhaust like (full, gutted cats, downpipe?) If you open the exhaust, and run the TPS a bit rich, you can start popping flames pretty good now.

I have a stock manifold (geting RB header in a week) Bonez race pipe (soon to be replaced as well) and borla Cat-back muffler system.

So i'm getting the throttle snapping shut... no biggie, i guess it's hindering the performance of the engine brake than. I'll run the TPS a little rich and see if it helps at all.

The TPS has only 2 readings, 0 and 12V. You do the normal adjustment until they both are on (or off, can't remember), then adjust the screw so that the TPS plunger goes *out* at the same throttle position. I'm 99% sure you turn the screw clockwise to do this. Go maybe 1/2 a turn past optimal. This will fool the TPS into thinking the throttle is higher than it really is, so it will tell the ECU to kick up the flow rate. You'll get an increase in afterburn (slight popping at idle and decel), and if you get the exhaust good and hot (get on the highway for 15 minutes), then sit still and get the revs up (rev and drop, rev and drop around 6000rpm) you'll get massive backfire, and probably flames.
