So my car alarm just went off tonight. I we3nt outside to check on the car and i turned off the system by putting my key in the passenger side key hole and turning it. The alarm turned off. The car was fine and now when i try to set the alarm it will not set. I have power locks so i just go the driver side and push down the lock, so it locks both doors. The light in the center console will not turn on. Why?Am i doing it wrong or am i forgeting a step? Please help!

check the rubber plunger in the door jamb, press it in and out

a few times to clear it out. Sometimes I have to do that for the

alarm to work.

lock the doors and close them while you lift the handle, once you

lock the doors you should hear a beep and the light will stay steady
