I always use the trunks of cars to transport motors.

How much does a 13BT longblock weigh? I wonder if my car could handle it for the 1000 mile drive. Also, would my Jspec be complete or would I need stuff off of this engine?

Maybe about 400 pounds max. It should come complete, but it would be a good idea to look it over before you install it. It's likely that the wiring harness will be cut.

I've got this Ford Explorer Sport Trac just sitting there, minding it's own buisness. Yup, not used very often. Pulled an RX-7 up a hill once.

Yup just sitting there.

Man wish I could use it to haul something worth while.

Sigh. . . .

Drive me out to NJ to pick up an engine.

So, you up for an engine swap over the winter, John? Pretty please with boost on top?

In case anyone cares, my car is running great and only smokes as much/little as it used to. The tranny is grinding like crazy, though.

I'm thinking it'll be easier to pull then a 380 super duty ford V8 but I could be wrong.
